Welcome to TopBraider — Baltimore's finest home-based braiding studio. Located in Baltimore, Maryland, we offer a warm, professional space where you can relax and leave with braids done right. Every appointment is secured with a $30 non-refundable deposit paid online (Stripe), applied toward your final payment. Please review our policies below before you book so your visit runs smoothly.
Before You Book
Do not book if you are sick or have the flu. Wear a mask if not severe.
A non-refundable $30 deposit is required to secure your appointment and is collected securely online via Stripe. Your deposit goes toward your final payment.
You may reschedule once using the same deposit, provided you do so at least 24 hours before your appointment. Deposits for appointments canceled less than 24 hours prior are non-refundable.
Natural hair below 3 inches costs $50 extra and must be booked as an add-on.
Come with your hair washed, product-free, and ready for braiding. Light blow dry is free. Hair wash services are not provided.
Please discuss any allergy concerns before booking so the proper braiding hair can be recommended, or wash your hair in vinegar before your appointment.
It is advisable not to book on the day of an event to avoid inconveniences. Service times are averages and may vary.
Book long braids at the earliest time slot available so you can finish on time.
Please come alone. We do not have space for extras — communicate if you must bring a plus one. You are welcome to bring food or snacks.
Please communicate any changes in your arrival time.
No refunds after service. Please voice any concerns before leaving so they can be addressed immediately.
Braiding hair is provided — communicate your preferred color. Curls for Boho braids are NOT provided. Client must supply human hair (YWigs or any good human hair brand recommended).
